Gear Supply

This case study is all about www.gearsupply.com, a niche online marketplace in the US that specialises in less-used AV equipment. One of Gear Supply’s key offerings to its suppliers is cross-platform advertising exposure.

The client came to us with 13 problems in their Google Analytics and requested that we perform a root cause analysis to improve reporting overall. In addition, they hoped that any undiscovered issues would also be addressed.

Upon examining the 13 issues presented to us, we uncovered two main culprits: incorrect user ID configurations and the use of wrong dimensions in the report. But fear not, as we put our testing expertise to the test and resolved these pesky issues along with smooth transition from UA and GA4 following best practices.

But the best part? Our solution alleviated these problems, allowed for accurate data collection, and provided valuable insights that contributed to data-driven business decisions. That’s a win-win situation!

The reason that I wanted to share this case study is that each client has unique requirements and needs custom solutions to address those issues.
